Discover CBD

Our process starts in Switzerland, where our hemp is grown organically on our own farms. The utmost care is taken to cultivate the plants without the use of pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilisers. That's because we believe in using only sustainable and environmentally friendly farming methods.

The hemp is then taken to our laboratories so that the CBD can be extracted, distilled and converted into oil. We use a CO2 extraction process to ensure that our oil contains the cleanest and purest CBD extract possible.

And always in tune with the values of the island!

What is CBD?

The cannabidiol (comúnmente conocido como CBD) es uno de los principales compuestos cannabinoides que se encuentran en la planta Cannabis Sativa. It is derived primarily from hemp, which is a separate and distinct variety of cannabis plant from marijuana. Although CBD is found in both hemp and marijuana, they are not the same.

The CBD también se diferencia del THC, el otro cannabinoide principal del cannabis, en que no produce efectos psicoactivos ni crea un subidón.

Instead, CBD has been found to have a wide range of benefits. That is because humans have what is called an endocannabinoid system, a network of receptors that use CBD. Many have found CBD to be an effective remedy for everyday life.

Dosage and Application

Each person who decides to use CBD products in oil form needs time and patience to find their own personal dosage range. Beginners should start with 5 percent oils. and follow the manufacturer's instructions. As a rule, a dose of one to three drops is recommended, so that you can first observe your own body and wait to see how it reacts. The effect can take 60 to 90 minutes, and the duration of the effect can be up to eight hours. If this does not work, the dose can be repeated the next day or increased to four or five drops. Even so, the first thing to do is to wait and observe the body. If again there is no effect, it is possible to try the next higher percentage oil ? of course with a low dose at the beginning.

In this way, users can approach your personal dose step by step.

Our Process

Mother Nature inspires everything we do. That's why our CBD is pure, GMO-free and pesticide-free. They immerse themselves in life, find warmth among friends, take long walks, stick together to face challenges, go the extra mile and, last but not least, keep calm under pressure.

That's the kind of life we believe everyone should be able to have, regardless of their situation. However, we know that it is not that easy.

Suggestions

While the dropper is inside the bottle, squeeze the rubber end and release it so that it fills to the top. This should fill the dropper about halfway and give you a full dose of 1 ml of oil.

For best results, place a full dose under the tongue and wait 60 to 90 seconds before swallowing. Alternatively, it can also be mixed with food and drink. Take once or twice daily.

It is always recommended to talk to your doctor first before starting to use CBD, just as you would with any supplement in your diet. Their guidance should help determine the best amount for you.

Conservation

It is recommended that you store your bottle of CBD oil in a cool, dark and dry place, such as a pantry or cupboard. Exposure to excessive levels of heat, light and humidity can cause evaporation and subsequent degradation of the oil, reducing its service life.

The same goes for any other CBD product you may have.

If you choose to keep the bottle in a refrigerator, it may thicken and require warming before use. In that case, simply run warm water over the bottle for a moment. However, it is not recommended to keep this product in the freezer.

Frequently Asked Questions CBD Oil

Different people react differently to CBD and have different preferences. While one person has good experiences with a full-spectrum extract, another may prefer THC-free products. There is also no general recommendation on CBD concentration. For example, one person may experience positive effects after only a few drops of an oil with a low CBD content, while another may need several drops of a product with a higher content. Therefore, it is important to use high-quality oils and start with low doses.

No, CBD cannot influence a THC test, as it is simply not "looked for". In a drug test (saliva test, rapid THC test, blood or urine test), only the THC-COOH value is decisive. It is a breakdown product of THC and is stored by the body in fat cells due to its fat-soluble properties.

People who regularly take medication should consult their doctor before using CBD. This is because there may be interactions between certain medications (e.g. anticoagulants, painkillers, antidepressants, etc.) and CBD. In addition, studies suggest that high doses of CBD can have a negative effect on liver function. Therefore, people with liver disease or liver damage should first consult a doctor for advice.

In studies and medicine, CBD is used as a pure standardised substance in high doses. In comparison, CBD products are not standardised and their quality can vary considerably depending on the manufacturer. Therefore, it is not possible to transfer the therapeutic spectrum of CBD to CBD oils. However, this does not mean that CBD products are ineffective. If people use high-quality CBD oils, they can show positive effects on various ailments For example, experience has shown that THC-free organic CBD oils can be useful in the following areas:

  • Anxiety and inner restlessness
  • Insomnia
  • Inflammations
  • Headache / migraine

In addition, CBD can influence the sensation of pain and increase general well-being.

Theoretically, you experience the effects of CBD in your body thanks to your endocannabinoid system (ECS). This system is found in many animal species. The ECS system is crucial in helping the body maintain balance. So far, scientists have discovered two types of cannabinoid receptors in the body. CBD binds well to one of them. There is still a lot of research to be done on CBD's interactions with the body.

Use and concentration
The use of CBD varies from person to person. People experience different side effects and use it for different purposes, so there is no fixed dose that is recommended. What users are often advised to do is to use trial and error. This involves two main steps:

Start taking the lowest dose you can and wait to see the effects. Increase the amount slowly until you feel it meets your needs.

Start taking CBD oil at night. You don't know what kind of effect it will have on you, so you shouldn't risk using it during the day, when it can cause some negative consequences.

CBD oil is an extract of hemp, derived mainly from the stalk, leaves and flowers. Hemp growers harvest it after about 120 days, which is about the end of the flowering period. The plants are cut close to the root and left to dry. Once dried, the stalks are soaked to soften the fibres they contain and undergo decortication, which is the process of separating the fibres from the stalk.

After decortication, CBD is extracted using a variety of methods. One of the safest is CO2 extraction, but they can also extract with oil or ethanol. Each method has its merits and drawbacks. After extraction, CBD contains many undesirable elements such as waxes and lipids. The extract has to undergo distillation to remove these unnecessary elements.

After distillation, the extract is diluted with base or carrier oils such as coconut oil to help the body absorb them easily. Hence the name CBD oil. You can buy CBD oil in many different flavours, as the taste of natural oil tends to be a bit intense. The taste is also the reason why some people add it to edibles.

Product quality and safety are our top priorities. Although our CBD for humans contains other broad-spectrum hemp compounds along with CBD that may contribute to enhanced benefits through the entourage effect, there is insufficient evidence that these additional compounds are safe for pets. That's why we remove all traces of terpenes, flavonoids and other cannabinoids from our CBD for pets.
